In the current assessment, an effort was made to examine Indigenous cattle, significant milch, drought-resistant and dual-purpose breeds for genetic advancement, conservation future research. The flat forehead, drooping ears, fatty hump on shoulders, huge dewlap are traits of indigenous cattle. Along with producing A2 milk, they renowned withstanding heat, illness resistance, immunity ticks parasites low maintenance requirements. main causes extinction cow crossbreeding alien breeds, economic viability issues, marketing milk output, fat percentage, utility loss, decrease in herd size extensive mechanisation agricultural operations. By raising public awareness benefits breed conducting research them, cattle can be preserved. term “conservation” refers preservation potential as well its improvement a use future. future, advancement should combined. regional gene banks creation inclusion breeder communities, Gaushalas, NGOs other pertinent parties initiatives.
